Hello to all of our incoming students of the Class of 2028 as well as their parents, guardians, and family members! The entire DuBois Area High School staff and administration is very much looking forward to you joining our DAHS Family beginning with the upcoming school year. In order to provide an early opportunity to familiarize yourself with our building as well as meet some of our staff, we will be holding our annual 9th Grade/New Student Orientation on Monday, August 12, 2024. At any time between the hours of 9:00am - 4:30pm, we would like to invite each of our new students and their parents/guardians to come and experience this opportunity to pick up student schedules and other information, learn about some of our existing programs and activities, as well as engage in a self-guided tour of the High School in order to locate classrooms and explore the facilities that our campus has to offer. Additionally, DAHS staff members will be present to answer your questions and assist as needed.
Additional points of information:
● On August 12-16, members of our guidance staff will be available to meet with students
and parents to assist with any schedule changes and concerns. Counselors will be
present from 8:30AM-4:30PM on 8/12, and from 7:30AM-3:00PM on 8/13 - 8/16.
● Our counselors for students in grades 9-12 are Mr. David Volpe (last names beginning
A-D), Mrs. Elizabeth Drahushak (last names beginning E-K), Mrs. Deidre Smith (last
names beginning L-R), and Mrs. Nancy Chelgren (last names beginning S-Z). They are
